Esteemed multi-hyphenate Virgil Abloh has launched a mentorship series called “Free Game”, through which he will share the tools and lessons he has learned throughout his career.

Taking to his Instagram, the founder of Off-White and artistic director for Louis Vuitton menswear, wrote: “When I see the disparities in education provided to Black people and people of colour entering into creative disciplines, it strengthens my position that this is one of the front lines that needs immediate change.”

Through Free Game, which will take the form of a step-by-step series of online lectures and virtual learning tools, Abloh aims to share the “exact notions and tools that [he] used to formulate [his] career.”

Explaining the new concept on his website, Abloh wrote: “As part of my longstanding initiative to see design, art and culture more inclusive to young Black designers and those coming from non-traditional backgrounds, I wanted to assist in providing the means for them to advance on the road to ownership of their ideas and brands.”
